i love blogging for the reason above. i get to meet (wonderful!) people passionate about the same things as me. Emily from The Object Enthusiast is my first ever social media friend i've been priveledged to meet in person. and the added bonus, she lives in my home town! we've been fortunate enough to find time in our schedules to hang out the past two Monday nights. once over pizza, once over sushi. (FINALLY, a home town friend that likes sushi!)
Emily is an extremely talented ceramic artist with really great pieces for sale in her Etsy shop. I think i'm so drawn to Emily and her abilities because they are so very different from mine. i can't sit behind a wheel to create a single object. i can't glaze or cast a piece of pottery. Emily CAN. the one thing we do have in common is blogging. we're able to bounce new ideas off one another (and shoot down the bad ones). in a blog eat blog world i value Emily's insight and positive criticism. go visit my new friend, you won't regret it.
and, on our "date", she bought a donut to take home to her boyfriend. sweet huh?
