i'm STOKED to carry this series through to the new year. Nicole, the blogger behind Rose Runs Wild is our first host of the new year and she does not disappoint. Nicole is a leading blogging lady that i admire. working 40 hours of week, entertaining a family, raising a handsome son (with a red afro) and preppin' a home every week, Nicole is stylish while yet on a budget and shares my deep love for black and white. kudos Nicole (i don't know how you do it!)
take it, Nicole!
This clutch is one of my most prized possessions. I found it at a Salvation Army while rummaging through a basket of wallets and clutches hoping to find some Etienne Aigner. Instead, I found this handsome little fellow! It's not designer but it is made of really good leather and is in amazing condition. Not to mention, it goes with absolutely everything. I get more compliments on it than any other bag I've ever carried and I love telling people how much I paid for it. . . 75 cents! No joke!
This rose tin is one of my more recent finds. As you can probably imagine, I have a thing for roses so when I spotted this, I knew it had to be mine. I have it on a shelf right now but I'm still looking for it's forever home. It will definitely need to go somewhere special. I got this for a steal of 35 cents!
I literally gasped when I found these vintage Hush Puppies boots and realized they were in my size! I had been hunting and hunting for a vintage brown pair of boots. They are in such great condition and extremely comfortable. I got these babies for a whole $4.
This little lady was too cute to pass up. She sits next to my bed on my night stand. My grandma collected dolls similar to this so I was thrilled to find one of my own. I hope to find one or two more to add to my collection. She was 40 cents!
I found this shirt while in desperate need of some new clothes but my bank account didn't have much to give me. Let me tell you something, I am a white & black addict. If you look at my closet, it's almost all white & black and stripes. . . don't even get me started. I grabbed this and didn't think twice about buying it. I was stoked when it rung up for $1.50. My bank account was definitely ok with that!
This belt is another one of my most favorite finds. Again, I love the roses on it and the big silver buckle. I'm usually not a belt person but this one stole my heart! I paid a whopping 75 cents for it.
Thank you so much for taking a peek at some of my favorite frugal finds. Sometimes the things you pay the least for are the items that last forever! Thank you to Jen for asking me to be a part of this wonderful series! I hope you'll come visit me over at Rose Runs Wild and say hello! - Nicole
