one realm of my daily life i rarely share on The Fox, Frugal is my day job. when i'm not at work i don't want to talk about work, or think about work, and i don't gander you want to hear about letterhead, toner and envelopes anyhow. today however, is different. for the past 4 years i have worked full-time as an assistant to 18 attorneys. i never sought to work in a law office with a bunch of hot heads in suit coats and comb overs but that's the first job i caught after my high school graduation so i took it. a friend of a friend got me a part-time courier job to work through college and after several months i moved to full-time, dropped out of college and made money instead of furthering my education.
today is my last day at work. i'm going to be a stay at home wife until i find a part-time job that fits my new schedule . . . . SCHOOL! this has been the most frightening yet thrilling decision we've had to embark on since being married. Josh and I are newly married, living in an overpriced apartment and now i'm jobless. BUT, i'm trusting God to provide me an awesome part-time job with excellent pay and suitable hours that fit my school schedule. when i didn't need a job, God showed up with THE job i would work for the next 4 years. i befriended many incredible judges, clerks, coworkers and attorneys along this law life journey that i will cherish forever (and use to get me out of speeding tickets).
here are some photos that i've taken in, around and at my office over the past 4 years. to all my colleagues, i will miss seeing you daily (but i will visit frequently). thank you for making my first "real" job experience the perfect one. *i'm crying. . . .
so long law firm. . . (sorry for wasting paper scanning my hand. . . i owe you 10 cents)
now, off to enjoy the delicious treats the office ladies prepared in celebration of my new journey. . . SCHOOL!
